Book Publishing & Distribution

Finishing your book and publishing it are two entirely different skill sets. You shouldn’t have to master both.

  • Amazon, IngramSpark & major e-book retailers
  • ISBN, metadata & category setup handled
  • You keep 100% of your rights and royalties

Self-publishing gives authors more control and a larger share of royalties than traditional publishing ever did, but "more control" also means more decisions land on your desk: which ISBN to use, which retailers to list with, how to price a print book versus an e-book, how categories and keywords affect whether readers ever find your book at all.

What’s included

  • ISBN and copyright guidance, explained plainly, so you retain full control of your book’s publishing record.
  • Retailer setup and listing across Amazon, IngramSpark, and other major e-book retailers, with accurate metadata and keywords.
  • Print format decisions explained clearly: print-on-demand versus a print run, paperback versus hardcover.
  • Pricing guidance based on your genre and comparable titles.
  • A launch checklist and timeline, so you know exactly what happens when.

Why it matters

A book published with a vague keyword list or an incomplete listing is, functionally, invisible. Retailer accounts and rights registrations are difficult to fully undo once set up incorrectly, so getting it right the first time matters far more than fixing it fast afterward.

Our process

  • A publishing consultation once your manuscript is edited and formatted.
  • Account and rights setup, done correctly and explained in plain English, with you retaining ownership throughout.
  • Listing creation, including description, categories, and keywords written for real readers.
  • A pre-launch review, so you see exactly how your book will appear to a shopper.
  • Launch, with confirmation across every platform, plus a simple explainer of how to check sales and royalties.

What is included

Retailer accounts in your name

Amazon KDP, IngramSpark and the e-book retailers, set up under your own account and your own bank details. You hold the keys, not us.

ISBN and imprint setup

Registered correctly, with your imprint name where you want one, so your book is not listed under a service company’s.

Metadata and categories

Title fields, description, keywords and BISAC categories chosen for where readers actually browse rather than where the form defaults.

A verified live listing

Every edition checked once it is live: the right cover, the right price, the right description, and the paperback and e-book linked on one page.

How this one runs

  1. Account setup. Accounts opened in your name, with tax and payment details entered correctly the first time. This is the step that most often delays a launch when it is done in a hurry.
  2. Listing build. Description, categories, keywords, pricing and territories, drafted for your approval rather than filled in on your behalf and shown to you afterwards.
  3. Files and proofing. Interior and cover uploaded to each channel, and every platform’s own previewer checked before anything is pushed live.
  4. Launch and verification. The book goes on sale and we confirm each listing is correct and the editions are linked. You get a list of the live links.

About book publishing & distribution

Are you a publisher? Am I signing anything away?

No. We are a service you hire. You keep the copyright, the accounts are in your name, royalties are paid directly to you, and there is no contract that tethers your book to us. If you want to move everything elsewhere next year, nothing of ours stands in the way.

Do I need my own ISBN?

For a paperback you intend to sell through bookshops and libraries, yes. A free retailer-supplied ISBN lists that retailer as the publisher of record. We will explain the trade-off plainly and set up whichever you choose.

How long until my book is actually on sale?

E-books are usually live within about seventy-two hours of upload. Print takes longer because a physical proof has to be printed, shipped and approved, and expanded distribution to bookshops and libraries can take several weeks to propagate after that.

What does “expanded distribution” actually get me?

It makes your book orderable by bookshops, libraries and wholesalers rather than only through the retailer’s own storefront. It is worth having; it is not the same as a bookshop choosing to stock it on a shelf, and we would rather say so now than let you expect otherwise.
